“Rebecca is an amazing vocal coach who’s transformed the way I sing. I recorded an album last year and she helped me get ready for the vocal sessions, even attending some studio recording sessions to help me get the best results. She worked with me on posture, breathing and technique, and helped me increase my range by almost an octave. But what really makes her special is her focus on lyrical interpretation and the meaning of the songs.”

“Rebecca Phillips really knows her trade and is perfectionist in both the art and science of a great vocal. She always gets the best possible performance out of a vocalist, whether she is polishing the techniques of a seasoned professional, or giving new found skills and confidence to amateurs. I will always send singers to Rebecca before recording them, and would highly recommend her to anyone thinking of contracting her services.”

I commissioned Rebecca Phillips, artist name Omahrose, to co-compose, cast, co-produce and perform in a short musical for the Suffragette Centenary in 2018 for our Guilty Feminist Live show at The London Palladium. She delivered an incredibly sensitive, clever, memorable, showstopping piece that got two standing ovations at the Palladium and The Guardian described as “Britain’s answer to Hamilton”. Rebecca always over-delivered and had a charming, professional demeanour. She was well-liked by the company and is highly respected by others in the industry for her talent, work-ethic, technical skill and positive attitude. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone as she deserves every opportunity!

“Rebecca is the most brilliant teacher. When I first came to her, I couldn’t even hum in front of someone. She helped me build my confidence and technique in a very short amount of time.
Aside from this, she is very musically in the know, and will always fit to students’ music knowledge- and taste with a fun session, whilst still pushing them to strive for the best.
She is an expert in breathwork, presence, dynamics and overall technique. This is especially beneficial if you are a musical artist too as she will definitely get you ready for any upcoming project or show (as she did with me) Cannot recommend enough. I mean it! I would go everyday if I could!"

“Rebecca has changed my life. She has expanded my voice in ways I didn’t know where possible.  She has also connected it to every aspect of myself making each lesson a place of reflection. Her knowledge is so deep and integrated. This allows you to apply everything you find within the lesson to your life and being."

“Rebecca is an amazing vocal coach who has helped me improve as a vocalist and as a musician. She has taught me how to use better breath control, diction and more. She taught me these techniques through multiple, helpful vocal warmups and tips on how to improve the use of my voice."

I assumed that the concept of vocal lessons would be above me.Rebecca not only disproved these insecurities, but also helped me to gain confidence and further my interest in this craft.
Through understanding how important the psychology of a person is behind the voice, Rebecca inspires you by validating the words, intentions and delivery as fundamental parts of the process to achieve the desired goal.
Art Tatum said “There’s no such thing as a wrong note.” and, in my opinion, Rebecca applies the same mentality. The flaws you may think you have, may turn out to be your greatest strengths - I have no doubt Rebecca will be able to inspire you through her teaching.

"I had the privilege of being taught by Rebecca as my singing teacher, and I can't say enough good things about her. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she also has a genuine passion for teaching. Her kindness and friendliness create a comfortable and supportive learning environment. With her guidance, I not only improved my singing abilities but also received invaluable help with my audition material for musical theatre. Thanks to Rebecca's expertise, I was able to secure a spot in university. I highly recommend her!

"I’ve been singing professionally for 2 years but even on my first lesson with her I learned new things about my voice I’d never been told before.
She can pinpoint exactly what I’m doing and always has many ways to deliver technical advice, I also get notes on musical style and the meaning & emotion of the songs. So I feel I am developing in all these areas.
I’m really enjoying my growth as a vocalist with her and excited to continue it!"
Would 100% recommend!

I would completely recommend Rebecca, she is not only an excellent vocal coach and artist, but she is also an amazing and kind person, and you can tell she genuinely wants to help you out. She is good at listening to your needs and goals(both as a person and as an artist) and putting together a practical plan to help you achieve them. She has a great sense and understanding of music, songwriting, vocals, and the music industry. I've been having lessons with her for a while and It has helped me gain more confidence as an artist singer-songwriter, and I was able to carry out my first music project! Thank you Rebecca for everything.

"I am so grateful that I came across Rebecca when arriving to London and searching for a vocal coach four years ago. She has made a massive difference in reaching my goals in singing. If you're looking for someone trust worthy of your time and money, please do not hesitate."

"I’d highly recommend Rebecca. She knows what she’s talking about. She tailors her experience and knowledge to your voices specific needs while also informing you on fundamental ways to protect, strengthen and better your breath, projection and tone. So many seeds of information have been planted in my brain and are now always present when I sing and perform. I feel encouraged, supported and educated during our sessions and am definitely better off as a vocalist than before I worked with her! "
